Weekend Recap

Hey Ladies and Gents!
Happy Monday!

How was everyone's weekend?
Did y'all do anything good?

My weekend was typical for the most part.

Friday night was a wild date with my DVR.
Crazy I tell ya!

Saturday I hit the gym for a trifecta of Les Mills classes.
I thought it would be fun to do BodyStep, BodyPump AND BodyCombat all back to back to back.
Ambitious much?

After the gym I headed home to clean up and get changed and headed out to finish my Christmas shopping along with doing some other errands.
Speaking of Christmas I can not believe its only 2 weeks away.
Saturday night I went out to dinner with Lobster at this place called Chris Michaels.

Poor little fishy - not my dinner FYI I had salmon.
I have to say I have lived in the Central Jersey area for 10 almost 11 years now and this was the first time I actually ate dinner here.
Can we say AMAZING!

After dinner we wound up hanging around there to catch the fight.

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Marquez

For the 4th time!
Poor Pacquiao lost n 6 short rounds with a cross SQUARE to the face from Marquez.
Like I said it was the 4th time PAC-Man and Marquez faced off and it was devastating to PAC-man as it was the first time he has lost to Marquez.

I felt bad for his wife.
When she saw him fell she lost her shit.
Not that I can blame her.

I didn't get home till close to 2am.
Um I can honestly say I do not remember the last time I was out that late.
That sentence right there totally makes me feel old.

Anyway needless to say I did not get up and make the gym at 9am Sunday.
Actually to be honest with you I didn't roll outta bed till about 10am and I also can not tell you the last time I slept that late.
GLORIOUS

Ya know what I did Sunday?
A whole heck of a lot of nothing.
At least not till 6pm when I dragged my lazy behind off the couch and got on the treadmill for 50 minutes.

So how was your weekend? Do anything good?

Sounds like a fun time! Sometimes we all need a lazy Sunday to unwind. My weekend we crazier than normal: I had a friend's house warming on Friday night and then the rest if the weekend was spent with Austin and Boston family celebrating our Grammy's 90th birthday. We were able to squeeze in a celebration dinner for my daughter who just got into Dartmouth (!!! Still doesn't seem real!!) - dinner was just my husband's parents and sisters so that was nice. Yesterday though I felt very anxious - I have 4 glasses of wine and couldn't relax! Maybe it was the excitement of the weekend - IDK...but, back on track with workouts today. I didn't get much of anything else done with weekend! This week is all catch up...

I was sooooo mad Pac lost. Just, ugh!!! Otherwise my weekend was pretty UNambitious. Cleaned, made cake, went out for the boyfriend's birthday, watched football... the usual.

Wow, that is an ambitious workout day, but I bet you felt awesome.

Being sore the next day is my fave!

Glad you had a day of nothing, it's good for the soul.

Girl you want to throw me some of this gym mind frame my way? I could use a little bit of your determination to work out.

Holy goodness, workout queen! GREAT WORK! I decided that this Monday morning did not want me to work out, so I went back to bed. :) And besides setting my coat on fire, it was a fab weekend! Love your face!
